2. From, 5 to 10 October, troop concentrations were observed in the., WiesetburgaZetbst-
Dessau rea. Rocket launchers were placed along the Zerbst-Rosslau. railroad line.
A tent camp, 1,000 troops, and 50 vehicles were seen five kilometers east of Rosslau.
Troop concentrations were seen in the woods south of Dessau. Artillery units were
seer. it. the Dessau-Aker) area; 16 x 152 ma guns were emplaced northwest of nein
YUehnau, Sixty trucks with ammunition. moved from Rosslau to Aker,
Ot 3 October, two tank columns with 26 T-34 and JS-3 tanks, followed by trucks with
billeting equipment, moved from the direction of Zeithain and entered the Goitz
Waserne in Riesa. A column. of vehicles with billeting equipment, coming fnom the
direction. Of Zeithatra? was seen. entering the MUdra Kaserre at the same time. All
vehicles belongrO to the 1st Guards Mechanized Army.
4, On 8 October, 25 T-14 tanks and ammunition boxes were loaded at the Weisevesser
railroad. station for the T9th Mechanized. Division and. routed to Cottbus.
