to The airfield at I.itra (P 149/T 62) was located southeast of the town and
east of the i'itra Rivera It was rectangular in shape and extended about
1,200 meters in a north-northwestern - south-southeastern direction, had
a sodded surface but no concrete rur rayo r'er the western edges the f1'e-..'-'
showed traces of excessive wear in the main direction of the take--offs0
There were only two buildings at the field, one light painted concrete han;
abou-; 15 x 35 rieters, and one tvio-story building, abut 10 x 10 meters, or ,
