The following is an estl-mate of the number of workers in each factory-,
(a) Factory in the name of Stalin at Poznan - about 4,000 workers.
(b) Foundry at Stalowa Wola - about 200 workers.
(c) State railway factory at Wroclaw - about 200 workers.
(d) Machine factory at Mielec - about 2,000 workers.
(e) Foundry at Milowiec m about 1,000 workers.
(f) Stalin works at Labedy (Laband) s about 4,000 workers.
The factories are working three eight--hour shifts, six days a week.

The following materials are manufactured in the above factories.
(a) Factory in the name of Stalin at Poznan produces PM 41 (machine
pistols 41), PM 43 (machine pistols 43), RKM (light carbines), CKM
(heavy machine pistols), barrels for guns and cartridge cases, Cast-
ing of tank engines is done at Malta, a suburb of Poznan. About
4,000 workers are employed in the two sections.
(b) Foundry at Stalowa Wola produces castings for tanks, armored cars9
barrels, and armor for guns.
(c) State railway factory at Wroclaw produces RKMVs, CKM?s, barrels for
guns, castings of armored plate for tanks and wheels.
(d) Machine factory at Mielec produces busses and also PM 41, PM 43, RKM,
and CKM.
e Stalin works at Labedy (Laband) produces tanks.
(f)' Foundry at Milowiec near Sosnowiec. The plant produces 75-mm and 100-
mm mortars, nails, screws and hammerheads and is scheduled to manufac -,
ture munitions once the necessary machinery becomes available.
