25X1 1. The Ovrascov Teknikum po Electrotekhnika "Kirov" (Kirov Electrotechnical
School), is located on approximately 30 hectares of State-appropriated land
in Sofia. The first assistant director of the school is Steriyu Stoyinov9
a mechanical engineer, very competent,,who is the technical director as
well as a technology instructor. Vladimir Stoev, a physicist and teaching

per week of a third language (either German, French, or English); and

~o For seventh grade teachers (sic), five years of study are required. For
lyceum teachers (sic), an additional two years of "qualification" study
are required. Seven hundred students were enrolled in five regular courses
and two "qualification" courses. Students may become specialists in either
high tension current or low tension current. At the end of the prescribed
courses of study, students are given diplomas as electrotechnical technicians
with either the high or low tension specialty.
