2. There are about 150 officials employed in the main office and a large number
of.propagandists in various sections of Rumania. The salaries paid to the
head officials are extremely high, Gheorghe Apostol having received 60,000
lei per month before the stabilization, plus allowances. Liuba Chisinevschi
received 55,000 lei per month at that time, plus allowances. The other
officials receive small salaries but have their own cooperatives and canteens.
-Administrative expenses are high and include subsidies to canteens belonging
to the trade unions and to the Federation's own staff.
3, The canteen for activists in Bucharest served meals consisting of a meat course
and two other dishes for 25 lei before the stabilization, whereas a similar
meal in an ordinary restaurant would cost several hundred lei.
4. A certain Soimu is the head of the finance department of the federation.

The General Federation of Labor (Confederatia Generala a Munci) with the main
office at 8 Strada Calomfirescu, Bucharest, has jurisdiction over all labor
and trade unions in Rumania. The Central Committee of the Federation consists
of a president, a vice-president, and six members. The former president is
Gheorghe Apostol and the current vice-president is Liuba Chisinevschi.
