Point #1 25X1 I The site, located across the rag:11174r from the western boundary.of the airfield, is on a plot of ground formerly used as a garden. Five guns are located in this area; the plat- fo-ms of each are imbedded in the ground, the gun barrels 25X1 pointing in a north-south direction (0 to 10 degrees)and on occasion the travnrse of the guns to be 90 to 180 de(zrees, the barrels elevated at various degrees, from level to almost perpendicular. 25X1 Each gun is equipped with one barrel and [the guns are dug into the ground estimate he guns are arranged in a triangular nattern.1 125X1 the distance between guns at 10 meters. / saw personnel using equipment believed to he a small typo range under, along the eastern boundary approximately. 25-30 meters from the guns, This range finder is tubular in shape, approximately one meter in length, and is operated from a sitting position.
