THE REPRODUCTION OF THIS FORM IS PROHIBITED. 50X1-HUM 1, A report regarding the supply of ores, scrap,and fireproof materials was submitted to the Foundry Department of the Central Committee of the "LPR, which is headed ' by Engineers Krajewski and Sawicki. These materials will be in short supply in 19530 2, The imports of ores are insufficient; though they may cover current requirements and consumption in 1953, stocks at the end of that year will suffice for only two months of 1954. Therefore, requirements for 1954 must be covered by imports, 3; A shortage of certain materials in 1953 will undoubtedly hinder production; The supply of scrap material and the production of pig iron are insufficient. The situation can only be saved with imports, but the authorities do not know where to obtain them.
