Recentlyl the Chinese Communist Central and South China Military Area Command
sent a team of signal communications personnel and equipment from Canton to
the Democratic Republic of Vietnam (DRV)0 The shipment had been requested
by the DRV9 since the winter offensive was hindered by irregular communications
contacts caused by a shortage of personnel and equipment.
