to Source observed Erfurt Bindersleben airfield from the town between 3 and 28
November 1952,, Air activity was observed only on one day. Five jet fighters Were
parked at the field on 10 November and two jet fighters in late November)-
2? In November, six to eight shrapnelproof aircraft revetments, about 15 meters in
diameter, were under construction in the southeastern section of the landing field,
The revetments were open toward the fields Source observed from a passing vehicle
that four fuel containers, each about the size of a railroad tank car, were
located in two shrapnelpro'f aircraft revetments. Another container of the same
type was observed at the railroad station, The laborers who worked on the
revetments were hauled to and from the construction site on trucks 25X1 C
3. An AA {gun emplacement was under construction on the southern edge of the field
ju^t southwest of the triangulation point 315,1, The number and type of guns
could not be determined,2
?.n A radio installation with one mast was located on the highest point 500 meters
north of the Erfurt-Bindersleben road. The radio installation with four masts,
which had been observed about 200 meters east of triangulation point 30501
25X1 C prior to 3 November 1952, war no longer there. Its present location could not
be determined,1

Comnent., In late October 1952, .;furt l3indersleben airfield was occupied
by about 12 N Gw15s0 According to the present report, it appears that only a
few planes remained there in Moverrkber, The removal of tic PKV-15 DF station
indicates that the field will. probably not be used during the winter, while
construction work at the field is apparently to be completed, weather permitting,
