THIS IS UNEVALUATED INFORMATION 1. The ex German freighter SEIBURG, 18,000 BRT, is lying on her side at a depth of 58 ft. She has a hole torn in her port side on a level with No. 1 hold. The ship was raided on to two submerged pontoons,, During the process the lines broke and the ship sank back to the bottom of the sea. 50X1-HUM 2. The ex-German passenger ship GUSTAV, approximately 8,000 BRT, is lying at a depth of 36 m,, near Rczewie. Divers havs established that the ship is very much embedded in silt. For the time being there is no prospect of her being salvaged, A story is circulating that the Germans were taking away Polish treasure in this ship. 3. 4. Salvaging of Wrecks in the Gdynia Area The wreck of a former German motor vessel, approximately 3,500 m 4,000 BRT, lying in Gdynia harbor between Paged and the Paris Commune Shipyard, was salvaged by the Navy This ship was scuttled 50X1 -HUM by her German crew along w er cargo of torpedoes. The ship is now moored in the naval port of Gdynia and people can be seen moving about on board. She has three holds and gives the impression of being very strongly built and in a good state of repair. A submarine near Jastrzebia Gora (P55/Y28) has been accurately located and the place marked with buoys.
