There were also in- stances of additional pay being given to those who occupied responsible positions (eg, commanders, political instructors, etc) or who were assigned to positions re- 25X1 quiring technical skills (eg,gunner, radio operator, etc 25X1 Enlisted paratroopers, regardless of assign- ment or rank, received 70 rubles for every jump. In 1952 there were no paratroop 25X1 units in the Soviet Zone of.
