THIS IS UNEVALUATED INFORMATION
1, A complex of six barracks buildings has been under construction at Rasnov.,
14, km southwest of Stalin (Brasov) since September 1952.
2N Each building is 40 x 20 meters and contains three stories above the ground
floor. The foundations are concrete to a depth of 1.5 meters. Above this the
buildings are of cinder blocks. The outer walls have a thickness of 30 centi-
meters,, interior walls are of "Herallit" 10 centimeters in thickness. Roofs
are supported by wooden beans., the roofing being of hard-burned tile.
3. Three of the buildings are north and three south of the road branching off to
U'-ulcan. It the time of observation, roofs were being ?-)ut' on two of the
buildings- a third was completed up to roof heights and the other there were
still in the foundation stage.
