Guidance for US Delegation Regarding Revelation of
Classified Intelligence Information During Technical
Discussions on Safeguards Against Surprise Attack
At its 4 November meeting the Intelligence Board approved the
above paper subject to a modified version of an amendment proposed
by the AEC (USIB-M-8, item 12). For the convenience of members
we have reproduced this amendment (which was inserted at the end of
the former paragraph 1) and have incorporated the change in the
attached revised pages 1, 2 and 2a, which should be substituted for
pages I and 2 of USIB -D -17.4/ 1 previously circulated.
