MEMORANDUM FOR. Chairmen and Secretaries of Intelligence
Board Committees and Working Groups
SUBJECT Membership Roster of USIB Committees
and Working Groups
1. The attached listing of Intelligence Board Committees and Working
Groups is forwarded for information. In this connection, we believe
it desirable that the Secretariat maintain up-to-date rosters of the member-
ship of the Board committees and working groups. At present some but
not all Board committees or working groups furnish the Secretariat this
information on a regular basis. Accordingly, we request the chairmen
of all Board committees and working groups to furnish the Secretariat
with membership rosters as of 1 October. To systematize the process
of keeping this information up-to-date, while attempting to minimize
the paper work involved, it is also requested that the Secretariat be
regularly furnished with similar data at six months intervals hereafter
(e. g. , 1 April 1960, 1 October 1960, etc. ) or within an earlier period
if there has been a substantial change in the composition of a particular
committee.
2. We suggest that the attached draft format serve as a guide for
preparing these rosters.
