1. The following is a report on photographic coverage of:
a. 176 priority targets in South China and North Vietnam;
b. Targets in Laos adjacent to the South China border;
c. Targets in the Sino-Indian border area.
South China/North Vietnam
2. One BLUE SPRINGS and three BLUE TREE missions, flown
during the reporting period, provided coverage of priority targets in North
View According to field reporting, the BLUE SPRINGS mission on
covered four priority targets and the BLUE TREE missions covered
five priority targets.
3. Mission) covered nine
priority targets in South China and two priority targets in North Vietnam.
4. Tab A shows 63 of the 176 priority targets in South China and
North Vietnam on which satisfactory base line/ surveillance coverage has
been obtained since 1 March 1966. The base lin.P coverage was increased
by one target as a result of BLUE TREE coverage of the Hon Gay Port
Facilities. BLUE TREE missions also provided surveillance coverage of
four priority targets in North Vietnam.
5. The number of times each target was satisfactorily covered is
shown in Tab A as well as the dates of initial and most recent satisfactory
coverage since 1 March 1966. This information is provided in order to record
the progress in obtaining base line coverage and the frequency of surveillance
of the priority targets in South China and North Vietnam.
