United States Intelligence Board
SUBJECT : Overseas Processing and Interpretation
Centers (OPICs)
1. The Secretary of Defense and I have jointly approved the
report recommendations of the Joint Imagery Interpretation Review
Group.
2. Recommendation No. 4 requests that the United States
Intelligence Board finalize its consideration of the subject of Over-
seas Processing and Interpretation Centers, reference USIB-M-402,
16 September 1965. Action on this matter was postponed by the
USIB pending consideration of the Joint Imagery Interpretation
Review Group report.
3. You are requested to accomplish those actions to permit
final consideration of this matter by the Board at an early date,
taking into account the approved recommendation of the JIIRG on
this subject.
