29. (Unclassified - THW) LIAISON Karen Hoppe, in the office
of Representative J. Danforth Quayle (R., Ind. ), called asking whether
the Agency had yet published an unclassified report on Soviet civil
defense. I told her that the matter was still under consideration but
that no such report had been issued as yet and I was unable to give her
any date when such a report might be published. I offered again to
brief the Congressman on Soviet civil, defense at his convenience. She
said she would speak to him .and get back to me..
