1. (Unclassified - KJS) LIAISON Jennifer, in the office of
Senator Alan Cranston (D., Calif. ), called to request an Agency
publication entitled, "China Oil Production Prospects, " which was
sent to her.
Z. (Unclassified - KJS) LIAISON I called Ed Smith, in the
office of Senator Lawton Chiles (D., Fla.), to advise him the status of
a letter from Senator Chiles concerning I told him
that we are checking with other offices for information, and hoped to
have a reply to him, in a week. He thanked me for calling.

3. (Unclassified - KJS) LIAISON I called Marilyn Tat, in
the office of Representative.. Norman F. Lent (R., N. Y. concerning
their incaa.iry on behalf of a constituent, I told her STAT
we were checking on this request and would get a reply to them as
soon as possible. She said that was fine.
4? (Unclassified - MLG) LIAISON I received a call from
Patty, in the office of Representative Sidney R. Yates (D. , Ill. ),
concerning the CIA tours. I told her that if the program was approved
it would hopefully start in late August or early September and we
would pnt her name on a list and would be back in touch when we had
firm 1.Y:iforxnation.

Majority WVhip of the I-louse to find out the schedule of bills that would be
brought ttoo the floor of the House next week.
(Unclassified - SKM) CONSTITUENT Took a call from Margie
Gibson, n the office of Representative Alvin Baldus (D., Wis. ). She had
a recim. from a constituent who is a high school teacher for information
on the ?s of intelligence in foreign policy. I told her I would send her
some i: rxnation on this subject.
