20.. I LIAISON Received a call
from ,Stan Brand, General Counsel, Office of the Clerk, House of
Representatives, requesting that we determine if the 1947 transcript
of the hearings on the National Security Act of 1947 had ever been
recalled by a committee of the House for review. He felt that this
information would assist the House in confirming that the transcript
has been continuously under House control, I told him I would check
and let him know but doubted that this could be determined without an
exhaustive review of Agency records spanning 30 years, though it
might be possible that someone might have a personal recollection,
of such a request.
