NITC, to meetings with the staffs of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence (Tom Latimer, Mike O'Neil, Pat Long and Dick Giza) and the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence (Bill Miller Journal - Office of Legislative ounse Monday - 5 December 1977 and Anne Karalekas). The purpose of the visits was to introduce General Camm to the staffers and to give him an opportunity to give them a preliminary briefing on his current thinking regarding his responsibilities G as Deputy to the DCI for collection tasking and as head of the NITC. Both staffs asked:' a number of good questions and it was agreed that we should get back in touch with them to schedule more detailed briefings with the staffs and members, if they are available and interested. staff, on a variety of subjects, including his recent trip to the West Coast.
