(Unclassified - CM) LIAISON I relayed t OCR, STAT
that we had decided that we had nothing unclassified on CIA participation in
the government-wide SALT analysis process and therefore, concluded that
thore was no purpose in his talking with CIA people about our role. He asked
if we could give him information on titles of Branches working on SALT, lines
of authority, numbers of people, etc., for his study; DIA apparently has
given him this on its activity. He also asked if we could refer him to
congressional committees which, as I had suggested to him earlier, were
routinely informed on our involvement in SALT; he said he would seek information
for his own background, noting he has a TS clearance, but would not publish
anything. I said I would check and get back to him.
