Roy L. Ash, Director of the Office of Management and
Budget, today named B. A. (Dolph) Bridgewater, Jr., of
Chicago as an Associate Director of OMB for National Security
and International Affairs. He will assume his new duties
March 20.

Mr. Bridgewater e. rr sa41-y a senior partner of
McKinsey and Company, Inc., a anagement consulting firm,
where he ba?-bean specialiin strategic planning and
management of international operations. He will be one of
four Associate Directors in a restructured OMB presently
undergoing a reorganization scheduled to be completed next
month.
Mr. Bridgewater, a native of Tulsa, Oklahoma, is 38
years old. He received an A.B. degree from Westminster
College in 1955, and an L.L.B. degree from the University
of Oklahoma in 1958. For the following three years,
Mr. Bridgewater served in the U.S. Navy, first overseas,
later in the Office of the Judge Advocate General in
Washington, D.C. In 1962, he became Assistant County Attorney
in Tulsa and later that year enrolled at the Harvard Graduate
School of Business Administration, where in 1964, he was
awarded an M.B.A. degree with distinction.
He is married to the former Barbara Paton of Kansas City,
Missouri. They will live with their three daughters in the
District of Columbia.
