SUBJECT: Improving the United States Intelligence
Board Structure and Procedures
1. Attached is the memorandum from Admiral de Poix to
Director Jim Schlesinger which forwards for consideration the Army's
views on improving USIB structure and procedures. I believe this ties
in with the ongoing actions you have concerning USIB structure and
procedures.
2. It has been agreed that at present a reply is not needed;
however, please note General Allen's remarks that we should refer
to this letter when action is taken.
