1. Per a conversation with D/DCIfIC, D/PPB will assume the
responsibility for satisfying .D/DCI/IC"s needs for input to the report
of the Director to the PFIAB covering developments in the intelligence
community as a whole. I specifically assured D/DCI/IC that DIPPB
could be fully responsive to his requirements without requiring the
Directorates to go through an independent submission on this subject.
2. Thus, D/PPB will please advise the Directorates of the types
of material desired by D/ICI/IC for inclusion in the Annual Reports
being submitted under the first referent memorandum. If materials
are required which would not normally be included in the Annual Report
of the Directorate, these should be inform. Uy collected or attached as
a separate annex to the Directorate's Annual Report. This would be
particularly appropriate with respect to activities which might not be
one of the major line responsibilities of the Directorate but which would
be included within its provision of staff assistance to the Director with
respect to community affairs.
