SUBJECT: Briefing on Embassy Construction Security
1. The agenda for the 27 September 1978 meeting of the DCI
Security Committee includes a briefing by a Department of State rep-
resentative on the security program for construction of the new U.S.
Embassy in Moscow. The meeting will begin at 10:00 a.m. in room
7D32, Langley Headquarters Building. Our understanding is that you
will present the briefing. Please advise if the contents of the
briefing will require those to whom it is presented to have special
clearances. I can be reached on STAT
Also please provide not less than ours before the meeting the
names and clearance certifications of all persons you plan to have
accompany you.
