Intelligence in Automated Data Processing
Systems and Networks" (U)
REFERENCE: Memorandum to DCI, DCI/IC 77-1925, dated
3 August 1977
1. (U) Action Requested: That you approve the attached proposed
DCI.D 1/16 as a future NFIB agenda item.
2. (C) Background: In the reference you approved the circulation
to NFIB members for comment the Security Committee version of an updated
and revised draft DCID 1/16. Comments have now been returned to the
NFIB Secretariat and the consensus opinion supports the draft DCID as
circulated. Some recommended editorial changes have been incorporated
in the attached version of the DCID; however, the substantive thrust
remains unchanged. The areas of basic disagreement are the same as
reported.aut of the Security Committee in referenced memorandum.
