1. Referenced material transmits to the Chairman, IHC, a
197.0 policy statement on Information releasev.to contractors.
2. On 2 September 1975 an IHC staff representative met
with the Chairman, Security Committee, and proposed that the
Security Committee address this matter as being more properly
within the area of.concern of the Security Committee.
-3. If you are agreed this is more of a security issue than
a matter of IHC business, it is proposed that a working group be
formed to review and make appropriate recommendations for
change (or 'cancellation).
4. Attached for your ready reference is a copy of the 1970
policy statement and. a first draft revision prepared by the IHC staff.
