MEMORANDUM FOR: Chairman, Security Committee
CIA Member, Security Committee
SUBJECT Item #2 of Agenda of 25 September Meeting
1. The second item on the agenda is a request by
DIA to members to waive DCID 1/7 requirements. The Army
wants to contract out Defense Attache Communications
Facility in Saigon to the Federal Electric Corporation.
2. The attached news item was taken from Thursday's
Washington Post. It implies that the Federal Electric
Corporation has pretty poor security at the Saigon location.
3. Recommend that CIA take the position at the meeting
that DIA should make some report on this public allegation.
