In Implementation of a decision by the Intelligence Advisor Csznmittee on 6 November 1956, you are authorized to release to II 25X1 A three copies of each of the published NIS elements listed in the attachment hereto. 2. The immediate release of these NIS elements required by the IAC decision precludes the removal of the subsection entitled Comments on Principal Sources" from certain of the sections, and also makes in- feasible this modification of the control statement printed on each of these elements. Accordingly, it is requested that. a. These NIS elements be released to without deletion of any of the comments. b. The letter of transmittal accompanying these NI 55 elements contains an appropriate statement indicating that the control statement appearing an each of these elements is waived with respect to 3.
