IAS STAFF MEETING MINUTES
14 April 1972
1. Our response to the IG survey of IAS was delivered to the ADDI
this morning.
2. reported on the DDI Executive Council meetings he
attended MIS weeK Headquarters.
a. General Walters was confirmed as the DDCI by the Senate on
II April. (The DDCI's visit to IAS on 13 April was postponed.)
b. Travel to South Vietnam is cancelled until further notice.
c. Mr. Pforzheimer is the focal point for activities centering
around the Agency's 25th anniversary. He will be contacting long
time employees to solicit interesting items for this celebration.
d,. Mr. Eisenbeiss announced that CRS today was disseminating
the first OAK cables via machine run direct to each office within
Headquarters building.
e. The DDI discussed a letter from Mr. Hicks concerning EEO and
asked each office to identify positions for minority personnel at
technical or professional level and report back to him.

f. There was a brief discussion of events in US I B and matters
related to the IBM antitrust suit.
g. Laxity in security at Headquarters was noted.
h. Mr. Tweedy of the intelligence community staff is preparing
to meet with. Agency deputies on DCID's for internal coordination.
i. The DDI indicated he would approve environmental projects 25X1A
if relevant.
