The ADDI chaired both meetings. a. Under Secretary of State McComber has completed his review of State Department needs. He recommended that INR, the State intelligence organization be cut by one-third. It is not known whether this will effect the overseas geographic attache program. b. The ADDI noted receipt of a letter of commendation from Alexis Johnson, Under Secretary of State, regarding the China survey. c. OBGI distributed its China atlas today. Additional copies will be available to select people outside the Agency. OBGI will coordinate outside mailings. The Peking Guide Book will be dis- tributed on 14 January. d. There was an announcement that General Keegan will be Chief of Air Force Intelligence. e. A letter regarding the remeasurement of the silo launchers was forwarded, to Dr. Kissinger. The Senior Seminar Course will run during 5 March-12 May. Applications for candidates are due in February. j. Mr. Lundahl reported on Dr. Steininger's hosting of people from AID who are concerned with peaceful uses of satellite photography. k. There was discussion of the Anderson leaks.
