The members were notified that there were openings for the next
holdings of the MAG session. The members were asked to consider their
people who are just under the branch chief level for this very worthwhile
experience. Names of those interested in the special assignment should 25X1 C
be submitted to by COB 18 August. Those wanting information

was revised particularly to call attention to the activities covered by
the administrative code. (The revised list was subsequently distributed.)

IAS has received this new machine on loan for ten weeks, beginning
next Monday, will be located in a room off the first corridor in SID;
old room.
CRT CONSOLE
IAS is considering several low cost desk size consoles for future use.
A limited number of additional computer outlets would be needed for each
division.
EXPERIMENTAL QUARTERLY REPORT
The Chairman introduced the subject by giving the background on the
evolvement of this report. He then initiated a discussion on the continuing
need for this report. The members all agreed that the same kind of review of
experimental projects could be accomplished, with less effort, by getting a

print out of IAS initiated projects. This printout was agreed to in lieu
of the present report. The Chairman requested that each division present 2 5X1A
a status report on their experimental projects at the next Production Board
meeting.
