therefore proposed an alternative procedure that would
not require such extensive programming. He suggested that the material be
cut by frame and put into flat folders (one can per folder). These folders
of cut frames would then be rotated in the same way that cans are now
rotated. This would eliminate the necessity of mounting, cutting and taping
now done by each. analyst looking at a frame.
The division chiefs were asked to get their analysts views of this
proposal and report to

I reported on the EXSUBCOM discussion of the alternate
proposals tor materials delivery in order to speed up priority two. deliveries
to customers. 25X1 A
Members were also asked to consider whether they
want to continue to receive complex coverage or would rather have area
coverage. I requested an IAS response in about two weeks.
