BOMB DAMAGI= ASSESSMENT BRIEFING
briefed the members on bomb damage in Hanoi and Haiphong

There will probably be a two day delay in arrival of the "4" mission.

EXSUBCOM
Speciai_ized Duplication. reported on the briefing given
EXSUBCOM on printing of specia tg_ con rast DP's. He reported that the
two producing organizations cautioned that even though they are not taxed
by present requirements that their capab i I i ty i s I i mi ted and costly.
He stated that new devices are being tested by both organizations that
offer potential improvements for production of specialized DP~s. EXSUBCOM
members were asked to express their i nterest i n these new devices. IAS 25X1D

I CROFICHE PROJECT
reported IAS 1970 requirement to NPIC for microfi-che copies
of various hard copy documents is still incomelete. Although. this project
has faltered badly, Chief, PB/R&RD has promised prompt
remedial action. e quipmen eam is studying IAS' needs for a new
microfiche viewer for use i n the registry area.
MANAGEMENT INFORMATION REPORT ON CY 1971
There was a lengthy discussion of RMB's report on IAS production effort
duri ng CY -7 I . Members agreed that th i s report i s comprehens i ve and i nforma-
tive and ti~at it can be referred to when checking trends that developed
during the year. The Acting Director indicated copy should go in IAS
historical file.
