1..(S/D) SIGNIFICANCE: NEW CONSTRUCTION WAS UNDERWAY NEAR AN
ELECTRONICS AND S R&D FACILITY.
2. (S/D) AN AREA OF NEW CONSTRUCTION IS APPROXIMATELY 1 KM
SOUTH-SOUTHWEST OF SARY-SHAGAN MISSILE TEST CENTER LAUNCH COMPLEX D.
THIS AREA, WHICH HAS BEEN UNDER CONSTRUCTION SINCE MID MAY, IS BEING
FENCE SECURED. THE PARTIALLY FENCED AREA IS APPROXIMATELY 420 BY 310
METERS. BY A LARGE RECTANGULAR GRADED AREA WAS IN THE
SOUTHERN PORTION OF THE FENCED AREA. THIS GRADED AREA IS
APPROXIMATELY 220 BY 95 METERS WITH ITS LONG AXIS ORIENTED ON AN
AZIMUTH (APPROXIMATE). A LARGE AMOUNT OF CONSTRUCTION
MATERIAL WAS EC Y DELIVERED TO THE NORTHERN EDGE OF THE GRADED
AREA. BY CABLE TRENCH EXTENDED FRCM THE NORTHERN FENCE
LJNE OF THE NEW CONSTRUCTION AREA TO THE SOUTHWEST S ORMER
AREA) OF T7IE B-1 BU AT
LAUNCH COMPLEX D.
