1. (SWN) SIGNIFICANCE: DESPITE CONTINUED OPEN SOURCE REPORTS OF
IRAQI AIR ATTACKS, IRAN'S PRINCIPAL POL TRANSSHIPMENT FACILITY
REMAINS OPERATIONAL.
2. (SWN) REMARKS: NO NEW DAMAGE TO THE POL FACILITIES IS OBSERVED
SINCE NOR IS THERE EVIDENCE OF DAMAGE TO 25X1
SHIPPING IN THE AREA. THREE TANKERS HAVE ARRIVED AT JAZIREH YE
KHARK POL TERMINAL WEST AND ONE TANKER HAS DEPARTED FROM THE
T-SHAPED OIL PIER SINCE IN ADDITION, ONE 25X1
IRANIAN F-14 IS IN FLIGHT APPROXIMATELY 25 NM NORTHEAST OF THE
ISLAND (NOT ON GRAPHIC).
