In accordance with paragraph 1-302 of Executive Order 12065, I have
determined that continued security protection of certain categories of
documents is essential in the interest of national security. These .
documents contain true names, code names, titles, or other identifying
data pertaining to sources; documents revealing the true names of organi-
~ations that provided intelligence cover; communications intelligence and
cryptographic security documents; and documents containing information on
an escape and evasion technique.
Therefore, in accordance with paragraph 3-401, Executi?e Order 12065,
I am requesting an extension of 30 years between subsequent reviews for
declassification of the above categories of documents iss'_ed by the
!),epartment of the Army.
