week to discuss the final draft of the Attorney General approve ,.
procedures on covert procurement. stated that his STAT,
office had spent a considerable amount of effort working with
the Department of Justice on the procedures, and that they had
arrived at a set of procedures which could be mutually agreed

2. Based on our discussion with we feel we
can now work within the guidelines set forth. We are in the
process of identifying those covert procurement activities
which will require the DCI's approval for their continuation
