SUBJECT . Meeting with FWPB on 13 February 1979
1. Members of the FWPB wish to thank you for
meeting with us to discuss the recently implemented
security procedures, specifically the searching of
women's handbags. We appreciate your interest and
concern in this matter which affects every female
Agency employee and we are grateful for your thought-
ful consideration of its final resolution. While a
variety of viewpoints on the topic were expressed at
a previous Board meeting with the Director of Security,
the Board voted unanimously to forward its memorandum
on the topic to the DCI.
2. Members attending the Tuesday meeting who
were not identified in my previous memorandum to you
were two NFAC representatives, OSR,
substituting temporarily for who is
on TDY, and a newly selected board member,
OCR.
