REFERENCE My memorandum dated 13 December 1976 (DDA 76-6079),
same subject
1. In accordance with the referent memorandum, the Directorate
of Administration as a formal objective has been reviewing and updating
the regulations for which it is responsible. Presently, the objective
is approximately 85 percent completed, and I wish to express my sincere
appreciation for your cooperation in this effort.
2. Although good progress has been made, there are regulations
falling within your cognizance that are in need of updating. I have
directed the Regulations Control Branch to forward a list of these
regulations to the responsible officers in your components and to
arrange with them a schedule for their updating. With your continued
support, we can have all the regulations up to date by the end of
Calendar Year 1978.
