It is suggested that the
Travel Policy Cmte might want
to take a look at this issue.
I discussed this specific
problem withl and
others involved and find that
the Secretaries in question
live in Manasses. They do
not use their cars on a daily
basis to come to work but do
carpool.
Is it time to revise the
basic regulation or is there
some means by which mileage
could be paid under these
circumstances, i.e. required
Saturday duty that is not
subject to being regularly
scheduled.
