December Monthly Report
Bangkok Bureau
A. Non-Expendable Property Received:
Received this month 1500 ft coaxial cable, Cablewave Systems,
type SLA78-70J, P/N 810966-001.
B. Items of Engineering Interest:
1. A report on the evaluation of the bureau's New Cassette
recording system was completed this month. A copy was sent to
the Regional Engineer and one to ED/FEB. Work began on designing
and fabricating a suitable base for the recording systems in
each monitor booth.
2. On the recommendation of the Regional Safety Officer,
an.Emergency Eyewash Station was installed next to the battery
backup power supply for the bureau's microwave system.
3. A number of aging household-appliances and office
furniture pieces were turned over to the Embassy GSO for
sale and/or disposal this month. The appliances consist
mostly of unrepairable air conditioners, all of which are
at least 5 years old. Three of the air conditioners. in fair
condition, along with most of the rattan furniture excess
to the bureau, were transferred to another agency.
