The following typos of fishing craft are at present under construction in
Soviet Zone shipyards:

3. Germ inisoher Lloyd have so far certified Veo of the fishing craft constructed
at Boizenburg. One is a fish cutter built of wood with the following specifi-
cations:

1. Fishing boats (Seiner) built of steel. Seven of these craft have so far
been certified by the Germanischer Lloyd, Berlin. Their specifications
are as follows:

The specifications of the other fish cutter which is built of steel are
as follows:

5. These smaller types, which have a crew of six. are being constructed in ship-
yards at Boizenburg, Stralsund, Rostock, and Warned nde.
5. The Soviets have also been planning the construction of a larger type wooden
fish cutter, 24 meters long, to be produced at the Rhode `Ierft, Rostock.
No decision has yet been taken on this matter because of the Soviet failure
to obtain the necessary engines for it. CB#c: -Because of diffi-
culties experienced in obtaining these engines, he D.'JK has approached firms
in the Western Zones including the Notorenfabrik Hans Still., Hamburg, Liebig-
strasse 33.)
