1. On 21 February 1949 the rilitary Technical Institute (VTU) at
Podmokly (F 56) addressed a letter, ref. 1401 t - I a- 1949, to
the Povazske Strojarne (Povazskc Machine 7orks) at Povazska
Rystrica (0 71) requesting their quotation for 5,000 rounds of
7.5 mm ammunition. The quotation was sent to the VTU on 11
March. Translation of this quotation is given as Attachment ?t;r r:.?I"
2. On the basis of a personal agreement in February 1949+etween
a representative of the Ministry of National Defense (MNC) and
the Povazske Machine Works, this plant Presented on 11 Msrch 1949
a quotation for 400,000 rounds of 9 mm pistol ammunition, mark 0$,
Translation of this quotation is given as Attachment "B".
The 7?j for faulty manufacture and firing tests
only recently started In this plant.
