SVEfDLOVSK. 50X1-HUM (i) The URALMASH Steel works at SVERDLOVSK are, located north of the town centre within the inner city and cover -an area of ca. 2,000 M. x 2,000 in. The. works were built in 1925, but since 19+7 have been considerably enlarged and modernised. (a) URA,LIAASH Steel rlo^ks. (ii) In October, 1928, .85 shops were in operation. A large part of the works is now turning; out 76,2 tern; A.Tk./A.A.' rlual-purpose guns, but since 1947 shops Nos. 61-67 have also been producing arrnoiir plating which is not used for the above mentioned guns.
