2. Uork proceeds as follows. The order lei elven to prepare 30 batches of curled
louder 0.12,0.8 and 240 x 290 grarle; and to assen'Ae 30 rockets. The first man
fills and Nundles the pouder, the ,scold nen assen'Aes the projectiles and fixes
the fuses and detonatore. The pre are rrojectiles are taken to a storage room,
where constant teerexature is ea1nte5ned. The conpartnents are connected hy
areor-plated doors, The ualls coneist of reinforced concrete, 70 centimeters
deep. In the testing room, there t,ee oin large stnndsp egeirped with electric
gauges which indicate the thrust of the rockes. On one stand, pouder-lucled
rockets are tested, the other sc-ind is for liquid-fueled rockets, ".estueen
the stands, and above the moven iron eines are cemented into the walls, The
eyeholes between the testing roam aid the observation chambers (attachment 1)
are made of unbreakable glass a')out 21 oeAtimeters thick. The rockets are fired
electrically. The exhaust gases are ce'ecleed by a steel uall and dram off through
a smoke stack. The following liquie-fueled rockets are being tested: KI, K 2,
3, and the "Henschel".
3. The liquid-fueled rockets are filial, eith methyl alcohol, which is nixed with
a minute quantity of water. Theygue3 ignAed by a gunpowder fuse. The air cone
partnents contain oxygen. Hounver, at the beginning of Narth, tests Imre started
with a new liquid-fueled rocket, filled weth oxynitrogen and anilin. Six tests
were carried out, but noneuers sucoceefel. Ienition is automatic, the liquids
Igniting when nixect, Lately, 20 "Henschel"-type rockets have been prepared (attach-
ment 2). These rockets will probably he tested somewhere in Poland. All experi-
mental exec is boine directed by Steff Caet,, Crosmen. Engineers in charge of
construction are Zihor and Ualpuch.
