It is not a complete biographical register and is subject to correction and amplification. Although a considerable number of previously unassembled data has been included, the present list is by no means definitive. The lack of information on individuals active in the clandestine communication service and other field agencies of the Comintern is particularly conspicuous. The absence of adeauate checking facilities accounts for possible in- accuracies in spelling and identification. Appendix A, following page 157, lists Comintern personnel by countries. Appendix B contains a list of ab- breviations. Numbers in round brackets immediately after the name entry in the first column refer to the pages of a previous study, "The Third (Communist) International, Structure and Functions," October 1947. 25X1A SECRET/CONTROL U.S?OFFICIALS ONLY Approved For Release 2003/10/23 : CIA-RDP83-00415R005100090001-4 Zits:7.E ..sara LTSSI .i4E3AMOV (See MIROV) ABRAMOV (See WALDEN") ABEAMOVITCH (See MIROV) ABUD SLIM (See HA.BUD SALIM) ABUSCH, Alexander gREEINEARIT, Ernst Germany ACHERMANN, Anton Germany AGASADA (32) Japan ALFRED, L.
