plant was erected in 1913.4 frcn the rolling mill and was fitted with a
ci4 xluo i on unit and testing unit. Mannesmann system, for Panzerfaust
(bazooka and Panzerachreok (?) production. A construction department
weer the direction of the Tranaporta firm is being built and a sheet=
tempering' plant* has already been set up but ? without the ro1.lin mill.
This mills purchased by director Ing. Pitman, is to corn 50X1-HUM
tether with a rolling mill for the Trines plant,
d. Steel and non-ferrous wires, nails, and barbed wire,

f, 1) Commercial, crane and tie chains, nails and wires including those from
non-ferrous materials if available, Imotted Viktor and. Herkules chains,

fillers. Liquidation of this foundry was begun in November :L947.

3. The Ilanaka a ITutni chain plant at CeskLa o employs 31$) workers and 31 technical
are' admi ni.strative clarlm. Three shifts- -axe operated: from 6 a.m, to 2 p.m.,
from 2 pm. to * 10 p,m.; from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. The plant has three hydroelectric
pier stations. For small falls, Kaplan's turbines at power stations II and
M. are used; for a deep fall of 4.8 ?m, the turbine at power' station I is used.
The turansforpor roam is in the plant. In case of emergency, the circuit is
connected with the cast Moravian Electricity Jorkc.

b. Bending shop which has bending machines for chains; produces in 3 hours
up to 1,200 kg with a di 2;neter of approximately 4.5 cars.
c. ?elding shop, fully mechanized and capable of keeping pace with the bending
shop for mire under 12 rma. The welding process for a larger size is much
slater,
d, Nail shop, equipped with steam harmers and pressing machines; produces
6,000 kg of a length of 100 mm and a diameter of 2.1 2.2 mms
a. Pressing plant, whose output is difficult to estimate because of the variety
of work.
f. Assembly shop for snow chains: 200 pairs in 16 hours (morning-and afternoon

site Wrath side tension and continuous side chains for constant process.
Tvu people work at each table on a piecework basis, producing 120 sand
chains and 80 snow chains in one shift.

B Calibration and fracturing machine used for crane chains; calibration
is done under the limit of Hookes' Lair, under the tension limit and
for a length of 22 links. The fracture pincers depend on friction
and are mobile on two bogies behind a pneumatic plunger.

blunt resistance front welding. A row contains 12 couples.
