In comparison with the first half-year of 1950, the production of crude lignite and peat shaved a. tendency to fall off. The planned figures vrere, however, achieved, Overfulfilment vras paxticul.arly noticeable in the production of "IVasspr~ssstein`?, and in the mining of manganese concentrates The fluorspar and heavy spar minas are exhausted, fIeavy_ and Li,~tiht Machine Construetian, The production programme was broadly fulfilled. Underfulfilment applied to the following items: spare parts for boilers and S,C. engines o;~her tool grinding machines, other presses, blast-furnage equipment, and spare parts for lifting and loading equipment. The planned figures for milling and stamping machznes, footweax and weaving needles could not be reached owing to the lagk of corresponding imparts. It was not possible to make adequate supplies of seamless and welded tubes available for sp~~.re parts for pumps and oompressors, Vary little production facilities oxe available for the output of 0 -~ 100 ton hydraulic teases other metallurgical equipment, bronze 50X1-HUM f3.ttin~s and presses, 50X1-HUM It w~.s also impossible to produce adequate quantities of equ~.pment for dairies, welding burners, and oxygen oompressors due to 3siadegi~~te sup~lie s of non-ferrous metals. 3. Vehicles. Actual production exceeded the planned figures by 67ib, 1n spite of this the outlook for the production of spare parts for ro.ilway vehicles and tractors is extremely limited, ~.} Metal Goads, The fulfilment of the items metal mesh., welding eZectrodesF screws, nuts, metal beds etc, was not attained, curing in particular to a shox'tage of ferrous and non-ferrous wire and steel tubes. 5. Electrioa.l E~ineerin~;. Owing in psrtioular to a shortage of ?'Dynamo sheet", z3.no sheet and copper, the planned. output of disconnecting-switches, eaectxo-ureters, measuring instruments, batteries and elements was not reaehed~ There is an accumulation of electric ovens,. ~Coht. ..x,...-~..
