At this stage the cement department 0 has been agreed on to transport the slag by means of (railroad) cars, beginning approximately 15 November 1951. 1952 projects include an additional storage site approximately 1,000 meters in length; a traveling crane, negotiations for which are being carried on with the Bleichert firm; and a number of additions to the sintering, ore-bed, and mixing installations. The blast furnace installation is to receive three more furnaces, and a fourth one is to be added during the first quarter of 1953. Minister Zo_f Heavy Industril Selbmann has not yet decided whether the capacity of the fifth furnace should be raised from 500 to 600 tons.
